  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 16 slices of bacon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes for less heat (or leave some for extra spice).
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. Using a spoon or a piping bag, fill each jalapeño half with the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Cut each slice of bacon in half. Wrap each filled jalapeño half with a piece of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
